Manos que Ayudan is a movement inside the Comedor de Barrancas foundation dedicated to supporting some of the most vulnerable groups in our society. They provide dinners for people living on the streets, snacks for children, and workshops for women who are facing difficult circumstances. Their goal is simple but powerful: to help those who have been pushed to the margins find their way back into the social and economic fabric.
They also offer school support for children, giving them a stable environment to learn, grow, and stay connected.

This month, we had the chance to support their work in a meaningful way. We purchased large amounts of food for their daily assistance programs, and—most importantly—we provided supplies for the women’s workshops, including crochet materials, yarn, and tools. These workshops teach practical skills and give women the chance to create products they can sell to support their families.
And the impact is already real.

Some of the women in the program have successfully sold many of the pieces they created, making a visible difference in their current situation. These small wins show what happens when opportunity meets support: lives begin to shift.
At Comedor de Barrancas, every shared meal, every workshop, and every skill learned is a step toward dignity, independence, and reintegration — and we’re proud to be part of that change.
