Supporting Merendero La Amistad: a daily lifeline for more than 100 people

Merendero La Amistad opens its doors every single day to more than 100 children and adults, offering a warm meal and a safe space in a community where support is urgently needed. For many families, this merendero is not just a place to eat — it’s a place to breathe, to connect, and to feel held.

This month, we were able to support their work by purchasing a large amount of food, helping them continue their daily service without interruption. With so many people depending on them, keeping the shelves stocked is essential.

The team behind La Amistad works with heart and determination, making sure no one is left behind. Their commitment turns a simple meal into something much bigger: care, dignity, and a sense of belonging.
